School prospectus or report folders, professionally designed and printed with your school graphics - designed to send out extra leaflets or information.
If you are looking for a professional and efficient way to organise your school reports, your school prospectus documents, presentations, leaflets and mailshots, then the answer is with the use of a bespoke school folder. The school folders we produce come in many shapes and sizes with different pocket sizes and also pocket widths. These can be supplied glued and in position or supplied flat - ready for you to make up when required.
Initially we will discuss your requirements - using our design and print experience to guide and advise you of the most cost effective style to suit your brief. Once we have created a mock up of your school folder we will send you through the initial concepts in digital format for you to view. At this point we can make any changes you require and once finalised we will carry out the printing process. We can print anything from a basic folder which just includes the school colours and logo, through to quite complex 6 page folders with fold out flaps.
Many of our bespoke designs include school photographs taken within school - we can work from your existing photo libraries or we can visit your school and take a new set of pictures suited to a school folder design.

School Folder Shapes and Pocket Styles
An important part of your new school folder design is the shape, size and position of the printed pocket. We have many standard pocket options or can design a bespoke pocket to suit your requirements.
We have 2 main pocket options for your school folder - which are glued pockets or interlocking pockets.
Glued pocket folders are printed, laminated, folded and the pocket is glued in position and are ready to use. The folders arrive in cardboard boxes for storing.
Interlocking folders are printed, laminated and then are die cut to shape - with all fold lines scored ready for creasing. The folders arrive flat in a packet which require less storage.
We have shown a set of 9 school folder options - however we can design a bespoke folder shape if required. Option 9 shows a welcome pocket - this can be designed to a different message - or logo shape.
With most folder designs we can add a spine or capacity to the pocket which allows the user to add more sheets of paper. We have listed below more information on this type of school folder.

Cover lamination options
School Folder Lamination
The outer cover of your school folder or school prospectus brochure gives a great first impression of your school. We offer a number of lamination and varnish options to make any printed item stand out from the crowd.
Adding a lamination to the outer cover of any printed item, not only looks great but it can ensure the book can be in the best condition for longer. A laminated cover whether it be a gloss lamination or matt lamination will thicken the cover, protecting the spine and the corners of the cover.
We have shown 3 different printed covers in the samples to the left. The first sample shows a gloss laminated cover - which gives a thicker, shinier cover which can be wiped clean. The second sample shows a matt laminated cover which is softer to touch and has a mat sheen, while protecting the cover. Lastly we have shown a matt laminated cover with a spot UV gloss varnish - we are able to select some design elements - possibly photographs and a school logo and apply a gloss effect which makes these items stand out from the cover.
Whichever lamination you choose - the covers will be protected further and the covers will look great.
School Folder Spine Options
Your school folder can have a thicker spine to allow for many more pages and documents to be included within the printed folder.
When designing you school folder we can add extra thickness to the spine and pocket - typically 5mm, 7mm or 10mm. This will create a small box type effect in the pocket allowing many more pages to be added to the folder when sending to parents. A standard folder will not have a spine included and is a straight scored fold - these can usually hold unto 15 A4 pages quite comfortably - any more pages may make the folder lose shape on the corners due to the extra thickness held in the pocket. We can advise you when creating the designs of the best options.
